Established in 2018, BlaBlaCar Bus was born out of BlaBlaCar's acquisition of OUIBUS in November of that same year. The company officially launched in June 2019 and has since been offering long-distance bus services across Europe. Initially known as BlaBlaBus, the company went on to adopt the name Ouibus, before finally deciding on its present name, BlaBlaCar Bus. BlaBlaCar Bus operates a network of routes that link several cities, including Aix-en-Provence, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Genoa, Lille, London, Lyon, Marseille, Milan, Nice, Paris, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, San Sebastián, and Turin.

FlixBus, a long-distance bus company, operates in both Europe and the United States. Founded in 2013, it has grown to become one of the largest bus operators in Europe, connecting over 2,500 destinations in 30 countries. Originating in Germany, FlixBus has expanded quickly to neighboring countries including France, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Croatia, while also offering regular services to Norway, Spain, and England. Iryo is a Spanish high-speed train operator, founded in 2019 and serving Spain's major cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Seville, Valencia and Zaragoza. iryo operates on the national rail network in Spain, using the latest AVE high-speed trains to transport passengers at speeds of up to 310 km/h.

Marino Bus is an Italian bus company that operates both domestic and international routes. Marino Bus operates routes to major Italian cities such as Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, and Naples, as well as international destinations such as Paris, Barcelona, and Munich. Marino Bus provides a range of services including bus rentals and intercity buses, connecting various destinations in France, Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg.

SNCF, the French national railway company, offers TER, a comprehensive regional train service. Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane is the owner of Trenitalia, which serves as the main train operator in Italy. The high-speed Frecciarossa trains link Milan, Rome, Naples, Florence, and Turin at speeds of up to 300 km/h (186 mph). Frecciargento and Frecciabianca are two other high-speed services that operate at slightly slower rates but provide connectivity to smaller cities and towns. Trenitalia operates regional and intercity train, and provides international connections to neighboring countries through EuroCity trains.

Union Ivkoni is a Bulgarian bus company that operates domestically and internationally. Founded in 1992, the company has grown to become one of the largest bus operators in Bulgaria, with a fleet of over 1,000 buses. Union Ivkoni offers a wide range of services, including regular bus lines, charter services, and international routes to destinations throughout Europe. While not as swift as the high-speed ICE trains, Deutsche Bahn’s InterCity trains boast speeds up to 200km/h, offering spacious carriages and dining options. Operating across numerous German routes, such as Cologne-Hamburg, these trains also extend to international destinations, including Amsterdam and Luxembourg. Some routes even feature double-deck trains.
